Home Carers is owned and operated by Paul McLaren and Louise Collins. Together, they lead a team of compassionate caregivers who are committed to delivering high-quality home care in Christchurch and Tauranga.

Home Carers was founded in 2014, initially serving the Christchurch community. Due to growing demand and a commitment to making quality care accessible, we expanded into Tauranga and surrounding areas.

Yes. All Home Carers team members are police-checked, First Aid certified, and undergo continuous training, including specialist education in dementia, mobility, and recovery support.

Wherever possible, yes. We know how important consistency is for building trust and routine. If a change is ever needed, we always communicate clearly and provide a proper handover.

Absolutely. We offer virtual or in-person introductions prior to the first visit so you and your parent can feel confident and comfortable with your carer.
